Jeremy Johnson DDS MS

Meet Dr. Johnson

Jeremy JohnsonMy patients are always my top priority, and I am passionate about improving the orthodontic experience for them. What excites me most is the challenge to provide the most efficient orthodontic treatment possible while never compromising quality of care and results.

Orthodontics provides me with a great sense of satisfaction.  Every patient presents with his or her own unique set of problems or concerns, and the challenge is how to address all of those concerns efficiently and effectively.

But orthodontics isn’t just about the science of moving teeth; it’s about people. I hope I provide patients with improved self-esteem and confidence, and that they were truly happy with their decision to have orthodontic treatment with our office.

EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Minnesota
  • Master of Science – University of Minnesota
  • Orthodontic Certification – University of Minnesota

I have practiced orthodontics in West Central Minnesota since 2006, and in that time, technology and treatment methods have advanced considerably. Continuing education ensures that my patients’ orthodontic treatment is supported by the most recent techniques and knowledge available, in order to provide the best possible result. Essentially, I am a lifelong student and I feel I always have something to learn.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

I was born and raised in a small rural town of about 1,000 people in northern Illinois. I currently live in the Spicer area with my wife Laura. We have a daughter Rylee and a dog Stellea. I love spending quality time with my family and doing various projects outdoors in my free time.

IN THE COMMUNITY

It is important to give back to the community because I was raised in a small town and I understand what it is like to live and work in a rural area.  Through my office, I provide fourteen $500 scholarships to graduating seniors every year. We donate to various programs each year throughout all the communities we serve, including the local theater, the YMCA, various youth sporting events, 4H organizations, school fundraisers, and music organizations.

Fun Fact:  In my career I have treated approximately 15,000 patients, which equates to placing almost 650,000 brackets.
