Since joining the dental field 13 years ago, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every day I come to work. Each day presents a challenge, since no patient is the same, and that keeps things fresh and exciting. It’s gratifying to help give someone a shining and confident smile with the most efficient and effective treatment possible. Seeing a plan for that perfect smile come to fruition is one of the best parts about this job.
I was born and raised in a small rural town of about 1,000 people in northern Illinois. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I earned my doctorate of dental surgery, master’s degree, and orthodontic certification from the University of Minnesota. I attend meetings and continuing education courses on a regular basis to stay current with new technology and make my patients’ orthodontic experiences the best they can be. I’m affiliated with the following professional organizations:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- Minnesota Association of Orthodontists
- Minnesota Dental Association
I feel my practice has one of the most caring teams out there. The majority of my team has been working in the orthodontic field for twenty plus year. I’ve always stressed the importance of putting the patient first. We all bring various strengths to the table, which combine to make one incredible, professional, and experienced team. We enjoy getting to know each person as an individual, and not a day goes by when you’re not hearing some laughter around the office.
Away from work you’ll find me hiking, canoeing, golfing, cross-country skiing, biking, or working on various projects around the house. I live in Spicer with my wife Laura and our dog. I stay active in the communities I serve and I am proud to provide scholarships to high school graduates from the area.
I know you have choices when it comes to orthodontic care, but please consider the outstanding and capable team at my practice for your treatment. I would be happy to meet you and help you with your orthodontic goals.
